In celebration of Earth Day 2019, Humboldt Baykeeper will host the biannual Indian Island kayak paddle and cleanup on Saturday, April 20. Thanks to the California Coastal Conservancy, it’s FREE – kayaks, gear, and guides provided – but RSVP is required, and space is limited.

Humboldt Baykeeper has partnered with the Wiyot Tribe and HSU's Humboldt Bay Aquatic Center to provide you with all the necessaries (kayak, lifevest, wetsuit, trained guides) to paddle out to Indian Island, where we’ll remove trash that has washed up or blown off the Samoa Bridge. Free! No experience needed! For folks 12 and older. Already have a kayak? Great! Meet us down at the dock to paddle out. Bring a water bottle, hat, and sturdy shoes. Space is limited - Sign up early! RSVP required. If this floats your boat, call Jasmin at (707) 616-7261 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
