The California Coastal Conservancy invites the public to learn about plans to control invasive Spartina densiflora (Chilean cordgrass) and restore the Humboldt Bay region’s native salt marshes. Participants will be updated on the Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge’s Spartina control project, hear about the plan for regional Spartina control, and have an opportunity to provide input to the Coastal Conservancy on an Environmental Impact Report for the project.
